It’s the first choice for drag racers and street tuners. Kelford Cams has been right there since the start. We’ve been making the camshafts and valvetrain parts needed to turn these engines into world-beaters.
Built for high boost
Our technicians have built specific profiles for both naturally aspirated and turbocharged Barra engines. These cams are meant to make the most of the airflow through the big cylinder head ports. You’ll see real gains in horsepower and torque.
When you start winding up the boost, the factory valvetrain becomes a bit of a liability. We have heavy-duty valve springs and retainers to stop valve float at the high pressures you’ll see in the XR6 Turbo community.
